What have you been wearing on stage? Anything new you've been liking?

Stage is all about movement with this dance tempo, so anything secure and a great fabric or texture. For me that means, some kind of corset, leotard or body suit with accessories and of course a platform or just a shoe stopping shoe. Comfy and snatched are forever lovers in my mind.

I have been having fun with sun glasses this album cycle.  The house vibes make me want to get a little funky and the whole thing has a character element to it so it’s fun to look loud. I also love my new Jeffrey Campbell gold platforms. I have been looking for a gold shoe for so long, it is sure to become a staple.

Comfy and snatched are forever lovers in my mind.

Do you collaborate with anyone? A stylist? A friend?

*LION BABE*
In the past, we had a very fluid relationship with a creative partner which was amazing. And I still tend to reach out to stylists and designers for bigger projects or things that I know they are perfect for. For the House of LION BABE cover art and photos we worked with our dear friend Phil from [LadyGunn Magazine](https://www.ladygunn.com/) to pull together a truly delightful energetic vibe. I was just new to being a Mom and I wanted to dive back into the visuals. We actually shot the House of LION BABE cover a few blocks away from Elsewhere.

But other than that, playing shows, shooting content and beyond, I have my style hat on. It’s been fun to rediscover my closet and add in some new pieces.

As a duo, do you coordinate looks? Are you a group that bonds over style?

*LION BABE*
We definitely check in with each other when we are playing or going somewhere. We like to feed off each other. We always try to be a visual representation of what our music sounds like. So it’s nice to have tones, and certain aspects of our fits connecting us.

Do you **make** any special pieces?

*LION BABE*
We are constantly brainstorming the [LION BABE store](https://lion-babe.myshopify.com/)! Like most things it takes time to really make quality work so we have yet to go full throttle on one of a kind pieces, but seeds have been planted. But our store is still loaded with great tee’s and our beautiful vinyls of course. [Lucas aka Astro Raw](https://www.instagram.com/astroraw/) literally wears them everyday!

Where do you **find** stage clothes? Any fav shops?

*LION BABE*
I find things from all over. Vintage, boutiques, my Mom’s closet or my own closet. I love wearing David Dalrymple pieces for show, he has an incredible archive and can also whip something up like that seasoned pro that he is. As far as amazing vintage and vibe in Bushwick, I love 28 Scott.

Where does your sense of style come from? Any special sources of inspiration?

*LION BABE*
It comes from all over but for stage a lot of times I will pull from 90’s runway, screen and stage sirens and whatever comes up in my mind when rehearsing. I still love the feeling of flipping through books in the music and art section of a bookstore. [Vintage Black Glamour](https://nichellegainer.com/booksvintage-black-glamour-and-vintage-black-glamour-gentlemens-quarters/) is one of my favorite coffee table books.
